A one-day-only opportunity to experience the cave as you’ve never seen it before.

From 1.45 pm, the lights dim to make way for a timeless spectacle: over 1,600 candles illuminate the underground route, revealing every contour of the rock formations. The flames trace a path of light through the heart of the rock, transforming the visit into a unique sensory experience.

Then, at 6.30 pm, the adventure continues with an old-fashioned tour, guided by the light of carbide lamps alone. An authentic immersion into the world of the cave’s first explorers.

For one afternoon, the Trabuc Cave is transformed. Thousands of flames line the underground path, highlighting the water, rock and natural formations of the cave. By the flickering candlelight, each chamber reveals a new, mysterious and warm atmosphere. The double visit

In the footsteps of the first explorers

When the modern lights are switched off, the cave regains its original atmosphere.

Equipped with a carbide lamp and accompanied by a guide, set off on a journey back in time through galleries, chambers and stalactites and stalagmites revealed only by the flame.

This unique tour allows you to rediscover the cave as it was explored in the past, before comparing this authentic experience with the site’s contemporary lighting.
