You can book your tickets online, or if you prefer, you can buy  your tickets directly on site the day of your visit (subject to availability).

It is possible to pay in cash and visa credit card.

Is there free parking available near the cave?2021-02-01T16:20:33+01:00

Yes, a large free car parking lot will allow you to park in front of the reception building of the cave (all seasons). In our naturally air-conditioned lobby, you will find: a bar with refreshments, ice cream and hot drinks, a souvenir shop and many minerals for collectors. Our outdoor terraces will also allow you to enjoy a relaxing break facing the Cévennes.

From Anduze or Saint Jean du Gard, follow the road signs indicating the “Grotte de Trabuc” via the D50 (in the Mialet valley – 30140) 20 minutes drive maximum.

Can we visit the cave during periods of heavy rain ?2021-02-01T16:18:15+01:00

Yes, the Cave of Trabuc are accessible in all weathers. We even advise you to come and discover the cave after the great rains of spring and autumn in order to discover the many changes of this underground world.

Is there a more favorable time of year to visit ?2021-02-01T16:17:41+01:00

The Cave of Trabuc are living structures (in constant formation). In periods of sustained rain the  runoff will be stronger , and pools with turquoise waters will grant you a sound atmosphere . However during the summer season of July and August,  the decline of the  runoff will give way to the natural sparkling calcite crystals and colored concretions.

The Trabuc Cave is open from February 10th to December 31 2024, including weekends and holidays. For more information on opening days  « Dates and opening hours » .

The visit lasts on average 1 hour, knowing that during the periods when the audio guidance works, it is possible to walk at your own pace.

Is there any specific attire required for the visit ?2021-02-01T16:05:23+01:00

No, the constant temperature of 14 ° will cool you down in summer. For the shivery people we recommend wearing a sweater. All types of shoes will allow you to visit but we recommend closed shoes.

Are animals allowed in the visit ?2021-02-01T16:04:07+01:00

Small animals are only allowed if they are either carried in a pet-bag or arms during the entire visit. Larger dogs can wait outside on a leash and  will be happy to provide them with water if requested.

Is the visit accessible to visitors with disabilities ?2021-01-05T12:44:39+01:00

The reception building is accessible to  all.

However, people with motor disabilities will not be able to  access  the cave,  due to the interior structures which respect the natural aspect of the cave.

Is the visit accessible for strollers ?2021-02-01T16:02:15+01:00

The descent into the cave is not recommended with a baby stroller because the natural configuration of the cavity does not allow it. The cave  is a protected site and we had to respect certain construction rules in order to preserve our millennial heritage. A baby carrier is therefore recommended.

What is the minimum age for the visit ?2021-02-01T16:01:35+01:00

There are no age restrictions, both children and adults are able to equally appreciate the diversity and beauty of these living caves! The caves circuits are perfectly built and secure. The youngest will have to remain under the supervision of adults at all times and on the marked trails.

Note : access by stroller is not possible, we recommend you to come with a baby carrier.

Take an audio-guided tour of the Trabuc cave, every day of the week from 1.45pm to 5.30pm (last departure at 4.30pm) and at weekends from 10.30am to 5.30pm (last departure at 4.30pm)!
